Hi! My name is Cecilia Kay Fisher . . .

So why is my website called CeciliaKayEveryDay? In June, 2023 I went through my third and most heartbreaking divorce. As you can imagine, I've had many last names over the years, but one thing has remained the same . . . I'm still Cecilia Kay Every Day. I've built a successful career in technology sales over the last 22 years. This means I've also had the opportunity to fail over the years as well. And I have. Many times! In fact, I didn't even want to be in sales when I got my first job. I was a broke college graduate and it was the only thing I could get, so I took it. But I thank God that I did, because it became the best career that I never wanted. I'm passionate about sharing what I've learned with others to help them become bad ass sales reps, or what I like to call Sales Unicorns, as well.

While I've spent over two decades in Sales, it feels like I've spent over two decades in dating as well. What does dating have to do with sales? you ask. Well . . . EVERYTHING! One day, after I finished a lunch with a new prospect of mine, I thought to myself, huh, these prospect meetings feel a lot like the first dates I go on. As I thought more about my career, my failures and my successes, I asked myself, How did I even get here? How have I become a great success, but others who have spent years, or even decades, in sales are still failing? 

I realized that there are 10 main ways that reps fail. Do you know how I discovered this? They're the exact same 10 ways people fail at dating. I know that sounds crazy and I also know what some of you are thinking. Cecilia, I've been married for 20 years. How does this relate to me? I'm in Sales, why would I care about dating?  Well, whether you're as single as a lost sock or you've been married for 87 years, if you're in sales you could be making some of the same mistakes that I point out in my book, and I bet you don't even realize it. That's the problem! Sales reps send prospecting emails and never hear back but they just keep sending the same old messaging. Or maybe they have a great lunch or a fun happy hour only to be ghosted forever with no idea why. Well I'm here to tell ya why. I've decided to make it my mission to help you stop repeating the same mistakes over and over and start perfecting your craft so that you can become a Sales Unicorn like me.
